The weekend was bright and sunny in beach town.
Along the pier, orange fish were being caught by cute pee wees.
Flowers bloomed along the trails and park areas. Many were wildflowers, part of the rare super bloom we are experiencing this spring as a result of the record rainfall this year.
Hummingbirds guarded their nests.
I stayed busy meandering the beach and capturing vignettes of sea life washed ashore.
Despite the clear blue skies and mild temperatures, very few people were on the beach this weekend - which was alright by me. It's nice to have your own private oasis now and then.
Ah spring! Can you stay forever?
